Public Space

This architectural gem in the heart of Aalst houses the city library, but also, for example, the Academy of Arts and (meeting) rooms for local associations.

The tubular luminaires provide functional lighting for the library and the atrium. Unknowingly and undisturbed, the luminaires 'flow' from the architectural ceilings. The lighting system is completely future-proof and can evolve with the function of the building. For instance, each luminaire can be addressed individually to easily adapt the lighting to potentially changing needs.

The project was carried out using Colab luminaires.
